Hi, I’m Gwen. I hail from ohio Nashville I’ve found cooking and baking to be my creative outlet. Over the years, it’s grown into much more than just a hobby.
On any given day, I’m out of the house for my day job from 7:00 am until 7:30 pm. Those precious hours between returning home and heading out again? That’s when I dive into my passion. Cooking, baking, capturing it all on camera, and then sharing it here on this blog—it’s a labor of love!

Some of you might recognize me from my contributions to [mention any relevant publications or platforms]. It’s just one of the many hats I wear, and another reason why I’m burning the midnight oil. Freelance food photographer? Not a role I ever saw myself in before starting this blog, but now it’s something I proudly embrace—yet another reason for my perpetual lack of sleep!
Before we go any further, let’s set the record straight. I’m not a foodie. Nope. My taste buds aren’t exactly adventurous. Olives? Fish? You won’t find them on my plate—ever. Yogurt? Feta cheese? Let’s just say we’re not on speaking terms. You get the idea.
You know what I do love? Simple recipes that fit into my hectic schedule. Dishes made with everyday ingredients that are still full of flavor and excitement. And it turns out, many of you feel the same way too. Who would’ve guessed?
